What if your deepest questions about identity became your greatest creative superpower?
I was adopted from Calcutta as a baby and raised in Maryland. From an early age, like most adoptees, I navigated themes of belonging and connection. Because of this, drawing became my first language. It helped me make sense of the world, connect with others, and see people in ways they may not have seen themselves.
As I moved through elementary school, I found myself continuing my love of art. One day a teacher pulled my mother aside and noted how my drawings stood out in dimension and depth; that my art was notably more advanced for a child of my age. I continued in the pursuit of creative expression, and majored in Studio Art with a concentration in graphic design at the University of Maryland.
That unique instinct to see and shape continues to guide my work today.
Now, with 15+ years as an Award-winning Creative Director, I lead teams to create brand experiences that are not only visually striking, but emotionally resonant, socially impactful, and grounded in human truth. I build trust with stakeholders, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and integrate emerging tools like AI to enhance creative outcomes, not replace the human spark at the center of it all.
Key Accomplishments:
Oversaw the development of integrated campaign materials to support Baltimore Gas & Electric’s (BGE) Emmy Award-winning Through and Through tv spots; campaign drove a 31% increase in website traffic, 45% boost in program participation, and 16M+ TV impressions
Directed the end-to-end creation of BGE’s The Efficient Home Magazine, recognized with 25+ national and industry awards, including a Gold Addy, a Silver Anthem, and multiple Hermes and Communicator Awards
Earned first-page Google ranking with a viral octopus infographic designed for the National Aquarium, shared over 1M+ on social platforms, gained national media coverage
Led the #70Million campaign for World Refugee Day, securing partnerships with 115 organizations across 8 countries and reaching 100K+ people globally, with 400+ attending the live broadcast
